The 309 in Dolce Beach Residence, an apartment that lights up after lunch
Apartment 309 is for those who love slow-down holidays. Three floors above the sand, it belongs to Dolce Beach Residence, a waterfront building that runs along Simpson Bay on the Dutch side. Its most beautiful hours come when the morning agitation has fallen and the sun turns towards the sea.
The afternoon balcony
From two o'clock, the light flooded the balcony sea view. One settles there with a novel and a fresh drink, for a game of cards with friends, or simply to follow the sailboats that rent in the bay. At this height, we enjoy the vibe while still hearing the laughter of the children on the beach.
Inside: two king size rooms for four
Four people are divided into two independent rooms, each furnished with a king size bed. There are also two bathrooms, not counting the guest toilets: life remains simple when everyone comes in at the same time, full of salt and sand. In the fully equipped kitchen, one prepares a real lunch before the nap, or the evening grilled fish while the others set the table.
Between pool and gym
Below, on the beach, the residence's common swimming pool takes over when the sea is a little agitated. As for the common gym, sheltered on one side and outdoors on the other, it is convenient if one of you wants to train even on holiday. For the rest, lobby staff help you from arrival to departure.
Requests to the concierge
Be expected by taxi to the airport, rent a car, go sailing or snorkeling, book a nice dinner table: entrust your desires to the concierge, she takes care of it.
Get out and walk
In Simpson Bay, everything comes together with a stroll: beach bars, marinas, food shops and restaurants. Princess Juliana Airport? Ten minutes driving. To change the beach, try Maho, Mullet Bay or Cupecoy; If you want to change your mood, head to Philipsburg or pass French to Marigot.
