Business Development Manager

I am a Business Development Manager experienced on the travel industry. I had the chance to work within several touristic environments and multinational markets for the past 4 years. I am currently available and looking for a position on the travel industry that I have had quite a lot of experience within the field of marketing and sales roles across the world.

As you can see in my resume, I first integrated Lana Tour in Hanoi, Vietnam which allowed me to learn about the Asian market and develop strategies with French and English source markets. My next experience in Saint-Martin, French West Indies was also enriching as I came to understand the importance of tourism to small island nations. What was most interesting in my time at Wind Adventures were my sales calls direct to retail and management of those relationships. My daily responsibilities at RTE Travel Marketing required lots of coordination, planning and management of all public relations (media liaison and itinerary planning). Which brings me to my recent position at Reva Dreams Travel Agency. That was a particularly enriching one in that, one of my responsibilities was to collaborate with wholesalers such as Agoda. I needed to develop partnerships with wholesalers and services providers.

All these experiences honed my professional skills within the industry and international relations considering the cultural differences of the companies and the markets. They have also confirmed that travel and tourism is where I would like to develop my career as I am a keen traveller myself but I also have had the opportunity to deal with so many cultures at once. I am computing literate and am already used to adapt quickly to new technologies and management tools. My life motto is “there is always a solution to any problem”. I am not used to give up on obstacles, I always proudly find my way out. Finally, I am creative and pay attention to details. The skills I have acknowledged within my past positions and my personal resources make me convinced that I will be a great performer within the team.
