GPX BRANCH MANAGER

The Company
The Saint-Barthélemy branch of GPX LOGISTIQUE, USP's representative on the island, is looking for its new Branch Manager to replace the incumbent who has been called upon to take on new responsibilities in another branch of the network.
The Position
At the head of a small, young, responsive and versatile team, the Branch Manager is the guarantor of the smooth running of operations (imports and exports), with his/her general management (based in Martinique), partners (UPS in particular) and especially customers for flawless quality and punctuality in the services sold.
Missions***
- Operational management of the Saint Barthélemy branch.
- Animation and supervision of the agency's teams.
Contribution to the organization of processes to maximize operational efficiency.
- Follow-up of current operations and reports with UPS.
- Transmission and promotion of the corporate culture within the agency.
- Reporting on the functioning of the Agency to the Directorate-General.
Responsibilities***
- Manage the entity operationally and be a driving force on process improvement.
- Guarantee the satisfaction of the agency's client portfolio.
- Contribute to the development and boost of sales in Saint Barthélemy.
- Optimize logistics flows and lead its teams and ensure compliance with GPX Logistics and UPS procedures.
- Guarantee the quality of the social climate while respecting the values and culture of the GPX network.
- Report to the CEO on information coming from the field and important events.
- Ensure compliance with the legislation in force.
Ensure the safeguarding and sustainability of movable and immovable assets used by the company.
The Profile
The ideal candidate will have a DUT in Logistics and Transport or BTS MUC at least and will already have a first professional experience in the management of a small B.U specialized in services with a strong presence of digital tools.
Committed and organized, knowing how to work with strong time constraints, he/she will be able to demonstrate, at the same time, a mastery of the use of computers, a great rigor, a perfect command of English and a strong availability to his/her collaborators in the field.
