Description

Solar Energy Construction Company is looking for a Maintenance and Commissioning Technician
of solar installations (M/F)

Missions:
• Commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems with battery storage
• Control of installations before commissioning, programming of equipment, load tests
• Organization of the monitoring of the installations to ensure their sustainability: real-time supervision, management of alerts, preventive maintenance
• Set-up of network analyzer, retrieval of load curves
• Support for logistics, stock, delivery management
• Support for the studies and sizing of the installations: on-site surveys (technical rooms, roofs, walkways, etc.)
• Support during the installation of solar panels, installation of batteries, inverters, cables

Skills:
• Technical training with a focus on electrical engineering and electrical maintenance
• Electrical accreditations preferred, would be a plus
• Knowledge of electricity (power, energy, use of a multimeter, safety rules, direct & alternating currents, etc.)
• Knowledge of electronics (components such as inverters, charge controllers, batteries, etc.).
• Mechanical skills: know how to perform mechanical maintenance operations on solar panel structures.
• Fault diagnosis: understand and solve technical and mechanical problems on photovoltaic installations and equipment.
• Understanding of the challenges of solar energy.
• Knowledge of the operation of solar panels and their technical capabilities: characteristics, specificities, potential.
• Reading of technical and electrical plans and diagrams.
• Ability to report regularly.
• Time management and project management to meet deadlines between preventive or curative interventions.
